The oldest building of the Jagiellonian University, one of the worlds oldest universities.
The building is now a museum exhibiting the institution as it might have appeared in Medieval times.
One of the most famous scholars to call the university his alma mater was the celebrated Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus.
The museum exhibits lecture rooms, communal halls, a library and a treasury containing the rectors' Gothic maces and the Jagiellonian globe as well as medieval scientific instruments, globes, paintings, collectibles, furniture, coins and medals.
