Gallerie dell Accademia

The gallery is located on the south bank of the Grand Canal in the Dorsoduro area of Venice.

It contains a collection of pre 19th century artworks by, amongst others, Canaletto, Tintoretto and Titian.

It also houses the famous Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci. As with many other works of art on paper, it is only occasionally available to view.
