Lennon Wall

John Lennon inspired graffiti wall

The Lennon Wall has its origins in student protests during the 1980s. Young Czechs would air their grievances with the government of the day by writing on the wall.

An original protrait of Joh Lennon has long been lost under the ever changing tide of Lennon and Beatles inspired graffitti which covers the wall. In 2014 the wall was painted over in white by a group of art students leaving only the text 'Wall is Over'. The wall has continued to go from strength to strength.
