Rijksmuseum

The Rijksmuseum is the Dutch National Museum. It contains a collection of over 1 million artefacts from which around 8,000 are on display.

The items on display represent the arts, crafts and history of the Netherlands between 1200 and 2000.

The museum notably includes a collection of over 2,000 paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. Paintings are on show by Vermeer, Rembrandt and many others.
