Rynek Underground

Rynek Underground is a 6,000 square metre exhibition space situated beneath the market square.

The museum opened in 2010. A permanent exhibition entitled 'In the footsteps of Krakow's European identity' invokes the atmosphere of Krakow in the 14th century.

Reconstructructions include a 12th century workshop, a waterworks, the remains of burned settlements and a medieval merchant's stall.
