Zulu submarine

Not a submarine that can be visited, but an ex Soviet Zulu class submarine that has been abandoned next to the ferry dock for the NSDM Werf ferry.

You can't miss it if you take the ferry or indeed visit the ferry dock.

The vessel was to have been refitted as a party venue but plans never quite got that far and it has been abandoned for some years.

If you really must make a special trip to see this cold war relic, take the free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal station to the NSDM Werf.
